Are you ready to make a real difference in a child’s school journey?
We’re looking for a caring and resilient Behaviour & Learning Mentor to work 1:1 with a pupil in a welcoming primary school in Loughton . The role is centred on supporting a child with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs , helping them feel supported, engaged, and motivated in their learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing consistent 1:1 support for a child with SEMH needs.

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional resilience.

Supporting learning across the curriculum in and outside the classroom.

Helping the pupil develop social skills and self-confidence.

Working closely with the teacher and SENCO to adapt strategies to individual needs.

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting children with SEMH needs (education or similar).

A nurturing, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
