A UK-based SEMH school is seeking a Behaviour Lead to oversee behaviour strategies and provide high-quality support for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a leadership role related to SEMH, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving student outcomes. Our SEMH school in Wakefield supports children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, often with complex behavioural profiles and trauma-informed backgrounds. We are committed to providing a stable, supportive environment where every student can thrive. As Behaviour Lead, you will take a key leadership role in shaping, implementing, and reviewing behaviour policies while mentoring staff and delivering targeted interventions for pupils.
As the Behaviour Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing behaviour provision across the school and ensuring high-quality support for students with SEMH needs. Your key duties will include:
A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential. All successful applicants must hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.
