Overview

Corpus Christi College has a vacancy for 1 Full Time Bedmaker. Main duties involve daily cleaning of rooms, offices, toilets, and staircases. There will be some weekend working required.

Responsibilities

• Clean daily rooms, offices, toilets, and staircases to required standards.
• Work both on your own and within a team to provide a first-class cleaning service for the College.
• Report to the Deputy Housekeeping Manager and be part of a team of 24 staff (7 at Leckhampton House, the post-graduate site; the remaining at Old House for the undergraduate site).
• Demonstrate excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge of chemical handling.
• Be flexible to working around busy conference periods and weekend shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Applicants must have experience in a hotel, college or similar environment.
• Ability to work on your own in a student and learning environment; conscientious, hardworking, and reliable.
• A vocational qualification is desirable.
• There will be some climbing of staircases and carrying bulky items.
