Overview

Looking for a career glow up? Ready to work on some top beauty brands? Do you take pride in a fully stocked beauty stand? Look no further… We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in the NE1 7DF postcode area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new Beauty brand into a fast-paced high street store. You'll be responsible for driving sales by ensuring the stands are completely full of stock as these brands sell fast!

Role location and hours

This role will primarily be based within Primark Newcastle. Confirmed working hours: 12. Sun 08:00-11:00 Mon 06:00-09:00 Wed 06:00-09:00 Thu 06:00-09:00

There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Toys and General Merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Product Placement and Replenishment: arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Ensure stock is out on shelves to drive sales and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages.
• Beauty Knowledge: become an expert on Health and Beauty, including brands, products and trends.
• Compliance and Standards: follow merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance; follow planograms where provided.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building: build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Feedback: provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application as the eyes and ears in stores.

• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Enjoy ownership of your own work within set timeframes and use initiative to find solutions.
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
• Comfortable with some manual handling to move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
