Location: Remote - Midlands to North West - UK

  • Reports to: Director of Sales
  • We have been asked bya leading telecom reseller to source the very best telecom sales expert to join their national sales team. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan to grow the company's hosted VOIP business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, as well as experience with hosted VOIP solutions.
  • Essential duties and responsibilities:
    • Generate new business self-generated leads from a database of warm company contacts.
    • Stay on top of prospective customers' renewal dates to catch sales opportunities.
    • Sell telecommunications services, including: VoIP, IP PBX and Connectivity.
    • Take a consultative approach to understanding customers needs and selling the correct solution.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing customers.
    • Track and report on sales activity and performance.
    • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
    • Proven track record of closing deals.
