V.Ships Leisure is looking for Barber on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The Barber is responsible for providing professional hair care and grooming services to guests onboard. The role ensures high standards of personal appearance and hygiene among passengers while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and compliance with maritime policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other grooming treatments.
• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with company standards and guest satisfaction targets.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation of the barbershop area, tools, and equipment in compliance with maritime health and safety regulations.
• Manage stock levels of grooming supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate service records and handle payments (where applicable) according to onboard financial procedures.
• Promote available grooming products and services to guests.
• Follow all shipboard safety, environmental, and sanitation policies.
• Support morale and welfare programs by offering services during designated crew hours.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Hotel department.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Languages: Fluent English plus one additional international language preferred (French, German, Spanish, Mandarin).
• Education: High school degree or related. Trained as Spa Therapist in upscale environment.
• Previous professional experience: 2 years as Barber in a luxury environment.
• Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
• C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
