Salary: £31,567 - £34,434 per annum

Grade: H

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Scarborough Spa

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals who can provide outstanding levels of customer service at Scarborough Spa.

Scarborough Spa is situated in the South Bay, Scarborough. The venue is used for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment, live music and events such as the Scarborough Spa Orchestra and the annual Scarborough Jazz Festival.

The role

As the bars and catering team leader at Scarborough Spa you will be part of a driven and ambitious team working in delivering events to the highest possible standard. You will be customer focused, ensuring a high standard of customer service is always upheld.

Key responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily bar and catering operations, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
  • Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding hospitality.
  • Work with other Team Leaders to execute events, functions to a high standard.
  • Assist the venue manager in monitoring costs, and profitability.
What you will bring

We are seeking motivated individuals that can demonstrate adaptability to be able to work across various aspects of the front-line operation.

  • Proven experience in bar, catering, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A flair for customer service and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Confidence with administrative tasks.
