As a Bank WingPharmacy Technician,youll be working as part of the HCRG Care GroupTeamin Norwich where we deliver services atHMP Norwich.

Main duties of the job

Within this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the administration of medication to patients and the associated medication management activities, including audits and stock checks under the direction of the Clinical Lead and the Pharmacist Manager.
  • Work autonomously within guidelines, standard operating procedures and Medicine Policy and:
  • Work as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to assist in ensuring the delivery of a legal, safe, high quality specialist prison pharmaceutical service which reflects National and local policy and priorities, taking into account the high level of security that must be maintained at all times
  • Undertake provision of a medicines administration service to the patients
  • Provide, in conjunction with the appropriate Clinical practitioners, a wing technician medicine management service on allocated wings
  • Support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects across the prison
