Qualifications

  • Experience in a respite care setting.

Join Our Team at Corserv Care as a Support Worker

About the role: Are you a caring and enthusiastic support worker with an inclusive approach to support others? We're looking for a proactive Support Worker to join our team of Bank Workers working across Respite Services and other services of Corserv Care, as and when required. In this key role, you'll provide vital ad‑hoc shift cover on a zero hours contract basis, giving you the opportunity to gain extra hours, as well as skills and experience within other parts of the organisation, and exposure to new teams, service users and work locations. About the role: The purpose of our short breaks service is to provide individuals with a relaxed and enjoyable break away from home, whilst allowing families and carers to have a much‑needed rest from their caring role. You will be providing care and support including personal care to a number of different people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and other complex needs. The role requires you to be flexible in your approach and be able to respond to the ever‑changing needs of the respite provision.

  • Full training and continuous development provided: Company Induction may include training for the Care Certificate, Moving and Handling, and Basic Life Support. E‑learning will cover some mandatory training, as well as TMobile and care plan training. There is job shadowing, and team and office support available. Management 1-to-1s and supervision, and annual appraisals. There could also be the opportunity to achieve qualifications such as Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care and career pathways within the organisation.

About you
  • Experience in a respite care setting.
