Overview

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Glenrothesservice as Bank Support Practitioner. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.

Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from female candidates that hold a UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities
  • Make a positive difference in someone’s life by joining The Richmond Fellowship Scotland and help support the people who need it most in our communities.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, a variety of other support needs and personal care as part of a recovery-based model of support.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • No previous experience in care is required as you will be provided with full training by our excellent and award-winning learning and development team prior to starting. Training includes classroom-based sessions and e-learning, plus shadowing current Support Practitioners.
  • Have an empathetic and caring nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills
Shift Patterns
  • Our dedicated team provides tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, wakened nights, weekends and bank/public holidays.
