A healthcare provider in Greater London is looking for Band 5 Radiographers to join their expanding Radiology Team. This role will allow you to rotate through various imaging areas and gain valuable experience that leads to opportunities for advancement into Band 6. Candidates should possess a BSc in Radiography and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. This position offers flexible working patterns and competitive pay ranging from £17.62 to £26.55 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience of General Radiography in the NHS.

  • Knowledge of Radiation Protection Legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through all Plain Imaging areas.

Job summary

We are seeking Radiographers to join our diverse and enthusiastic Radiology Team due to the continuing expansion of our Imaging Service. Our Band 5 Radiographers are promoted to Band 6 upon achieving competency in all Plain Imaging areas and CT. You will gain excellent opportunities to develop your career within our modern, well equipped and supportive Radiology Department.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 5 Radiographer you will be expected to rotate through all Plain Imaging areasand participate in the (paid) on‑call and out of hours service, following an appropriate induction period. You will actively participate in the Radiographer red dot and commenting system for ED Plain Imaging and the NG tube commenting system following training and assessment. After gaining experience and competence in Plain Imaging, Fluoroscopy and DEXA you will undertake full CT training in order to progress into a Band 6 role.
