Overview

We require a friendly, positive-thinking, organised and motivated individual to work as a Bank Porter/Storeperson within the Trusts Hotel Services Team. The post holder is based at Roseberry Park Hospital and will work hours between 6 am – 6 pm, including weekends and bank holidays. This role is Bank (as-needed) and involves portering, cleaning and storekeeping duties across office, patient and communal areas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide portering, cleaning and storekeeping duties within the Trust.
  • Interact compassionately with patients and carers; support a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
  • Contribute to quality improvement activities and support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work as part of a multi-professional team, think on your feet and demonstrate empathy in patient care.
  • Be flexible, reliable and willing to work at short notice; may have opportunities for extra hours.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and safety in a demanding environment.
Location and Hours

Roseberry Park Hospital, Marton Road, Middlesbrough, TS4 3AF

Working pattern: Flexible hours between 6:00 and 18:00, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
  • Numeracy and Literacy to level 1
  • Basic IT and keyboard skills
Desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 in Housekeeping or equivalent
Experience and Skills

  • Experience in the use of cleaning materials and equipment
