Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based clinical pharmacy support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians.
  • Deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred medicines management.
  • Offer clear, accessible advice to patients and staff to ensure medicines are used appropriately.
  • Support the monitoring, review, and supply of medicines across inpatient and perioperative pathways.
  • Assist in meeting statutory and professional requirements around the safe management of medicines.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, safety standards, antimicrobial stewardship and enhanced recovery pathways.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GPhC, NICE and Practice Plus Group standards.

Main duties of the job

As our Bank Pharmacist, you will deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care while working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams. Your work will directly support safe prescribing, medication optimisation, and positive patient outcomes.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Provide evidence-based clinical pharmacy support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians
