We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Cheshire. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact in a hospital setting. As a Band 8a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the dispensary and providing ward-based pharmaceutical services. Your duties will include reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, advising healthcare professionals on drug interactions and side effects, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. You will also be involved in patient counseling, medication therapy management, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care.
