Rate: £33 – £37

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30-16:30

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our client based in Prescot. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients with dysphagia and communication disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist speech and language therapy services within the community, requiring the use of a car for visits.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration with HCPC.
  • Experience managing dysphagia and communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car for community visits.
