Rate: £25 - £37

Working hours: Monday & Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensing Pharmacist to join our team in London. This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about providing high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

Responsibilities
  1. Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  2. Provide expert advice on drug therapy and medication management.
  3. Manage medication inventories and ensure the safe storage of pharmaceuticals.
  4. Conduct medication reviews and identify potential drug interactions.
  5. Educate patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  9. Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively during your shifts.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Pharmacist with GPHC
  • Community or outpatient experience (suitable for Band 6)
  • Hospital inpatient experience (suitable for Band 7)
  • Clinical trials experience (suitable for Band 7)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacotherapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
