Job Title: Band 8a Acute Pharmacist

Location: Blackpool, UK

Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing; Salary: Up to £36 per hour

Specialism: Acute care with focus on general medicine, surgery, and orthopaedics.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services on acute hospital wards, with a focus on medicine, surgery, and orthopaedics.
  • Conduct medicines reconciliation and intervene as needed to ensure patient safety.
  • Review prescriptions and patient histories, making clinical recommendations as appropriate.
  • Support timely and efficient discharges through use of electronic prescribing systems.
