The Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) is seeking a Breast Lead Nurse within the Breast Service. The post holder will have overall responsibility for the direction and development of the Breast Service, manage a team of Breast Care Nurses and the Breast Outpatient Department, provide clinical expertise and ensure high standards of care.
The Lead Nurse will represent the service at regional and national Breast Cancer meetings and will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families throughout their care pathway.
