Job Title: Non-Obstetrics Sonographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Staffordshire
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: £50-51 Per Hour for Weekdays
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1700/0800-1800

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated General & Gynae Sonographers to join our esteemed client in Staffordshire. This role requires working in a dynamic and fast-paced imaging department, where you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound scans on patients. Your specialist expertise will be pivotal in supporting accurate diagnoses and delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will independently perform General & Gynae ultrasound examinations, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, contribute to multidisciplinary discussions, and maintain accurate and timely documentation. Adherence to departmental protocols and national guidelines is essential.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Society of Radiographers (SoR).
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in any of General & Gynae Sonography is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centred care.
