A leading NHS healthcare provider in Birmingham is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for a 12-month fixed term contract. The role involves providing specialist therapy with a focus on communication and dysphagia management in an acute care environment. An exciting new opportunity has arisen across our Birmingham Heartlands and Good Hope Hospital sites to appoint a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work within our acute Speech and Language therapy team on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months.
You will be welcomed into a large and supportive therapy team with excellent training and development opportunities, as well as a robust supervision and appraisal system. You will have the opportunity to work alongside highly specialist staff and have access to regular videofluoroscopy & FEES clinics. The successful candidate will have suitable post graduate clinical experience, demonstrable interest in acute care, with competency in both communication and dysphagia management.
