An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified, HCPC registered Physiotherapist with Amputee Rehabilitation experience, to work within the multidisciplinary team to provide high quality assessments and interventions.
You will need to have a minimum of 3 years clinical experience with some experience of assessing complex disability.
The role is to provide physiotherapy input to the Regional Prosthetic Service, alongside Band 7 Physiotherapists. You will participate in the inter-disciplinary assessment process, negotiate client‑centred goal settings, and complete outcome measurements for amputees. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of amputee patients, both non‑limb wearers and prosthetic users, and provide physiotherapy treatments, including early walking aids and gait training techniques. You will communicate with physiotherapy departments locally and regionally to relay patient‑related information concerning their physiotherapy requirements.
