Job Title: Band 6 Physiotherapist – General Inpatients Acute

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our General Inpatients Acute team at Watford General Hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in an acute hospital setting, focusing on elderly care, medicine, respiratory, and surgery.

This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £27 per hour.

Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy:

  • Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for patients in the acute inpatient setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy input for patients with complex needs, including those in elderly care, medicine, respiratory, and surgery.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and strategies for managing their conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, research, and service development initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Supervise and support junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students.

Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy:
