We are seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join our Haematology and Transfusion Team in Colchester. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex haematological analyses using equipment including Sysmex XN, Werfen ACL TOP, and Grifols Erytra
  • Participate in transfusion laboratory operations, ensuring the safe and accurate provision of blood products
  • Maintain quality assurance and adhere to professional and departmental guidelinesCollaborate with the wider healthcare team to meet patient needs and enhance service delivery
  • Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff and students
  • Accurately record and report test results, maintaining excellent data management practices
