Job Title: Haematology/Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology/Blood Transfusion Locum to join our esteemed client in Derby. This role involves performing haematology and blood transfusion analyses, ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high laboratory standards, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with NHS protocols and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting haematology and blood transfusion tests, including full blood counts (FBC), coagulation studies, and blood film morphology. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including laboratory staff and healthcare professionals, to ensure efficient service delivery. Additionally, you will maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Qualifications & Experience


  • IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology or Blood Transfusion (desirable).
