Job Description:
Bromley Neuro Rehab Services is seeking a Band 6/7 Locum Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our team based at Lewisham Hospital.

What your responsibilities will be for this Speech and Language Therapy role?

The role involves providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with acquired neurological conditions, particularly stroke. You will manage both dysphagia and communication impairments, delivering patient-centred care across the Bromley community. Your responsibilities include conducting home visits, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and developing tailored intervention plans to improve patient outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Proven experience working with adults with acquired neurological diagnoses, specifically stroke.
  • Experience in managing dysphagia and communication impairments post-stroke.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ideally a car driver, but the role can be completed using public transport if needed.
