Job description
Overview

The successful applicant will work closely with the band 6 OT, Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Community Mental Health Nurses and admiral Nurses as well as have close links with in-patient units, CERTS (community enablement and recovery team, OPIP (older peoples intervention Programme), and Social Services. The CMHT's also liaise with primary care specifically GP's, and the third sector.

Responsibilities
  • The Occupational Therapist will be required to undertake comprehensive OT assessments using a number of standardised tools and models, including MOHO (model of human Occupation).
  • The OT will apply formulation skills in setting appropriate goals and work together with the service user in achieving these goals by application of appropriate interventions.
