North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Locum Audiologist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within our audiology department, providing high-quality care to adult patients. If you have previous experience in adult audiology and are looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply. This position is available immediately and offers a three-month contract.

Responsibilities:
As a Band 6/7 Locum Audiologist you will be responsible for managing an adult audiology caseload, conducting comprehensive audiological assessments, and providing rehabilitation services. This includes performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing individualized treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders. You will collaborate closely with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our audiology services. Your role will also involve providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Audiology and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in adult audiology.
  • Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in audiology.
