Job Title: Hospice Nurse (Band 5) | Location: Hertfordshire | Position Type: Full-time | Salary: £28,207 – £34,581 per annum

About the Hospice: Pulse is working in partnership with a well-established hospice in Hertfordshire, dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients and their families during challenging times. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic nursing care to patients in the hospice, including symptom management, pain relief, and emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Support patients and their families during end-of-life care, ensuring dignity and comfort.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Experience in palliative care or hospice settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality care.
