A community healthcare provider in Birmingham seeks a Podiatry Support Worker to assist HCPC registered podiatrists in delivering patient-centered podiatry care. This role includes responsibilities like conducting assessments, providing wound care, and supporting the orthotic workshop. This exciting new role as a podiatry support worker offers the right candidate the opportunity to work alongside and under the direction of HCPC registered podiatrists in delivering patient centered care and treatment for a number of foot conditions. The two roles will work across the city to deliver podiatry care in a variety of locations including health centres, patient homes, nursing and residential homes. It offers the opportunity to deliver education and act as a role model for the podiatry team. Competencies, education and training will be delivered to develop the assistant in their role. It offers the opportunity to develop and grow to consider completing a level 6 apprenticeship at a later date.
