Job summary

Overview

Band 4 Nurse Associate – Newly qualified Nurse Associates welcomed and supported with induction, development and career progression opportunities. This post is for the role based at Bucklands Team East Locality, working within the community nursing teams.

Service Hours

The service operates between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, seven days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality, holistic, compassionate and fundamental patient and client care as part of the nursing team under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing.
  • Deliver care planned and evaluated by our Registered Nurses in people's own homes and clinic settings.
  • Think independently, make decisions and bridge our Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses.
  • Be confident in your own decision‑making and ready to make a difference in this new role.
  • Drive – the position requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
Qualifications
  • Completed Nurse Associate qualification and be on the NMC register, or due to qualify within the next 2 months.
  • Full driving licence and own car available for work.
Career Development

Opportunities for further development via the Nurse Apprenticeship scheme and secondments to develop into a registered nurse.
