Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 3-month contract
Rate: £13.00 – £17.00 per hour

Job Description:

Croydon University Hospital is seeking a Band 4 Locum Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is essential for supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and assisting therapists in various therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing therapy interventions under supervision of qualified therapists.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living to promote independence and well-being.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the therapy team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for therapy sessions, preparing and organizing equipment.
  • Contribute to documentation of patient care activities and assist with administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in therapy or rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
