A leading NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham is seeking a Band 3 Housekeeping Team Leader. In this role, you will supervise a team of Housekeeping Assistants and ensure the highest cleanliness standards are maintained across clinical and non-clinical areas. The ideal candidate should possess basic education up to GCSE level, relevant training in cleaning and infection control, and supervisory management certification. This position requires strong time management and team player skills. Competitive salary and opportunities for further training are available.

The post holder is required to lead and supervise a large number of Housekeeping Assistants, under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, ensuring the environment is maintained to the highest possible standard. Responsible for delivering daily Housekeeping services including the daily allocation of work, monitoring standards of cleanliness, reporting of maintenance faults and ensuring all clinical and non-clinical areas are fit for purpose as outlined in the Cleaning Standards.

To maintain a level of cleanliness and hygiene within your work area by following a planned schedule of work and make flexible alterations when required to this schedule of work as occasion and events arise and dictate. Using electrical equipment safely to vacuum clean all floor surfaces. Dust control mopping of hard floors. Damp mopping of all hard floors maintaining a safe environment for others by following a safe method of work. Cleaning of furniture, fittings and equipment. Clean and maintaining to a high standard all sanitary areas, fixtures and fittings.
