S-RM is looking to recruit a skilled Backend Developer to focus on the development and scaling of a strategic cyber security application. This application is central to our operations, and your role will be crucial in its further support and development as we scale its capabilities throughout the year.

Our team specialises in creating robust, secure, and scalable applications for our clients. The role

As a Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to enhance, maintain, and support an existing application that is crucial to our service delivery. This includes:

  • Identify and solve problems that arise in scaling the application with robust solutions.
  • Implementing and documenting new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new functionalities.
  • Lead efforts in writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with industry best practices.
  • Identifying and implement new strategies to scale the application and ensure it can efficiently manage increased workloads.
What We’re Looking For:

Candidates with a strong interest in backend application development and a track record of guiding projects to successful outcomes are likely to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in Go: Experience in developing solutions in Go, with a strong understanding of backend architecture.
  • Exposure to Python: familiarity with Python and a basic understanding of code flows and an ability to support initiatives from the delivery teams.
  • Cloud infrastructure / AWS: experience in managing application hosting, scaling, and deployment processes.
  • Project Management Skills

The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
