A leading aviation solutions provider is seeking an experienced Aviation Compliance & Quality Engineer in Cambridge. You'll support safety and quality by liaising with the Military Aviation Authority and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation or aerospace manufacturing. Salary is competitive, ranging from £35k to £47k with benefits including pension and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

Aviation Compliance & Quality Engineer - £35k-£47k

Location: Cambridge | Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm | 29 Days Holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)

We're looking for an experienced aviation professional ready to step into a compliance-focused role that supports safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Liaising directly with the Military Aviation Authority (MAA)
  • Writing and maintaining procedures to meet operational and regulatory needs
  • Conducting internal audits aligned with CAA standards (Part 145)
  • Supporting the QMS through ongoing compliance (note: no ISO 9001 required)
  • Working hands-on with aircraft and engineering teams
What You Bring
  • Strong background in aviation or aerospace manufacturing
  • Familiarity with Civil Aviation Authority standards, ideally Part 145
  • Experience working on or around aircraft
  • Ability to manage compliance processes and liaise with regulatory bodies
The Package
  • Salary: £35,000-£47,000
  • Pension: 3% employer / 5% employee
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:30
  • Holidays: 29 days including Bank Holidays
