Job description

Audio Video Consultants Inc. is seeking a Service and Install Technician capable of developing and troubleshooting residential automation systems efficiently. The ideal candidate should communicate well, work effectively in a team, and thrive in dynamic environments.

This position is based in Chester County, PA, with a leading A/V company known for high-profile projects. We are looking for a key team member for our service delivery team. If you are an AV Systems Programmer experienced with Savant and other automation systems, please read further!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and upgrade Savant and other residential automation systems. Training provided if needed.
• Install, integrate, troubleshoot, and deploy residential A/V, Security, and Network Systems.
• Assemble and wire racks.
• Perform unit and system tests to ensure proper functionality.
• Manage job-site documentation to complete projects.
• Coordinate with Administrative, Sales, and other service personnel to meet customer expectations and complete project scope.
• Follow internal guidelines for system configurations.
• Build from and mark-up engineering documents.
• Work reliably and respectfully on the project site.

Job Knowledge and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong customer service, communication skills, and a professional approach.
• Ability to work well with Engineers, Project Managers, and Sales teams.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on increased responsibilities.
• Reputable, stable company with over 25 years of presence in the Philadelphia Metro Area.

Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $34.50 per hour.
