Overview

AV Project Manager (CUSTOM INSTALL) – we are seeking a capable audio visual project manager to deliver high-end residential integration projects for a fun AV residential integration company. The role requires client and team leadership, with a focus on successful delivery of complex AV installations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-end residential integration projects ranging from £50k to £1M, managing multiple bespoke projects for HNWI primarily in London and the Home Counties, with occasional travel further afield.
• Read schematic wiring diagrams/schematics and oversee the installation process to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate and work with systems such as Crestron, KNX, and Lutron; ensure in-depth understanding of AV installation best practices and risk mitigation to avoid common pitfalls.
• Maintain strong client relationships and facilitate effective collaboration with team members throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reporting; ensure scope control and quality standards.
• Have or develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end installation process and site coordination requirements.

Qualifications

• Ideally, CEDIA certification (or equivalent) and a strong background in AV installation and custom integration.
• Previous experience with high-end solutions (Crestron, KNX, Lutron) and a good reading of schematics/wiring diagrams.
• Excellent client-facing and team leadership skills; able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
• You must be living and working in the UK legally.
• Previous AV installation or custom install sector experience is essential.
