Overview

Automotive Service Manager required in St. Albans up to £45,000 basic. Monday to Friday - Saturday AM on rota. Our client, an expanding and progressive Automotive Service Centre is now recruiting for an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business and become an integral part of the Service Department maximizing profit alongside nurturing the staff and their development. The business was established in the 1980's and is focused on providing the best customer service within the local area and not pushing unnecessary or unwarranted upsales.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the service team to ensure outstanding customer service and efficient operations.
  • Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and workflow in the garage.
  • Ensure effective communication between customers, service advisors, and technicians.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of inventory management and parts ordering.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics to continually improve service delivery.

Requirements

To be considered for the role you must hold previous Automotive experience within the Service department and hold a proven track record of understanding and nurturing customer care.
