  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple inspections efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting issues and working collaboratively across departments.
  • Problem-solving ability to identify root causes of quality issues and suggest improvements.
  • Experience in quality control or inspection within an automotive or similar environment is desirable (training provided for entry-level candidates).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools for stripping tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed quality inspections on vehicle parts prior to dispatch.
  • Verify part condition and accuracy against order details and quality criteria.
  • Carry out manual stripping tasks, including removing door cards and other components.
  • Conduct final inspections for body shop items.
  • Identify and report defects or non-conforming parts.
  • Update company systems with inspection results.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
  • Follow all safety procedures during inspections.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
