Job summary

A family-owned neurodevelopmental service provider in the UK is seeking clinicians to conduct autism assessments for children and adults. Qualifications

  • Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC.
  • Experience assessing both children and adults.
  • Formal training in delivering ADOS and ADI-R assessments.

Skills

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality autism assessments using gold standard assessment tools such as ADOS and ADI‑R.
  • On average we look for 2 ADOS or 1 ADI‑R assessment per day.
  • Deliver assessments for children, young people and adults.
  • Use your clinical expertise and judgement to provide accurate diagnosis and post‑diagnostic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with a highly‑skilled multidisciplinary team.
  • Produce well‑written clinical reports. Dedicated admin time is provided to keep workload manageable.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and recommendations for clients.
  • Contribute to the development of the service.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC.
  • Formal training and experience delivering ADOS and ADI‑R assessments, ideally online.
  • Experience assessing both children and adults.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM‑5 criteria.
  • Clinical qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy.
