I am seeking to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager to join our Medway office. This role is suited to individuals with a strong background in practice who are ready to take the next step in their career and assume greater responsibility in the planning, management, and delivery of complex audit engagements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied audit portfolio, including several sizeable and technically demanding group structures. You will be responsible for leading audits from initial planning through to final completion, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective team management, and adherence to all relevant standards. This position offers clear progression potential for those demonstrating capability, professionalism, and a commitment to continual development.

What I am Looking For
  • A minimum of five years’ audit and practice experience
  • Ideally fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), although strong finalists will be considered
  • Proven experience leading or heavily contributing to complex audits
  • The ability to plan, manage, and deliver assignments with confidence and precision
  • Strong communication skills and the presence to represent the firm professionally with clients and colleagues
  • A polished, high-calibre approach with the ambition to progress within a growing practice
