As the Audit and Compliance Coordinator, you will provide effective and professional support to the organisation’s audit, compliance, and risk management functions. The post holder will coordinate internal audits, maintain compliance documentation, and support quality assurance and improvement activity to ensure regulatory, contractual, and internal standards are met.
The post holder will act as a key point of contact for internal teams, external auditors, and senior stakeholders, requiring sound judgement, excellent organisational skills, and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information. You will be expected to work independently, using initiative to manage competing priorities and deadlines, while remaining flexible to changing organisational needs.
The role requires strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills, and confidence in maintaining accurate records, reports, and meeting documentation. Competence in Microsoft Office, an understanding of audit and compliance principles, and the ability to support process improvement and training activities are essential. Experience within healthcare or regulated environments and knowledge of GDPR and regulatory frameworks would be beneficial.
