Overview

Levitate Recruitment have been commissioned to find an experienced partner for this well-renowned regional firm of accountants. Due to their fantastic reputation for service delivery, they have attracted lots of new clients over the last 12 months. As part of their ongoing growth strategy, they are keen to recruit a further partner to manage a small client portfolio whilst also taking on responsibility for attracting further clients to the business.

Role:

• You will be introduced to a portfolio of clients across a range of industry sectors comprising typically of OMBs and Partnerships.
• Your initial responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of new clients whilst building a platform to attract and retain further business.
• You will be responsible for a small team of staff but you will also have the remit to delegate client work to other service lines within the business.
• The firm provides a first-class environment with excellent resources and full support to develop as part of a structured Partner Programme.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors (OMB and Partnership client base).
• Grow the client portfolio by attracting new business and retaining existing clients.
• Lead a small team and delegate work to other service lines as appropriate.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth strategy and partner development program.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA Qualified with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent technical and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a portfolio of clients while adding value to their businesses and finances.
• All-round capability in accounts, audit and taxation.
• Proficiency in generating new business from personal contacts and collaboration with the marketing department.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work as a team player and independently when required.
• Self-motivated, committed, and flexible to meet client needs.
