A top recruitment agency is seeking a hands-on AV Tech Desk / Field Service Engineer to join their client's service team. The role involves solving client issues, maintaining AV systems, and working onsite across various client locations. Candidates should have experience with AV technologies and strong IT fundamentals. A UK driving licence is required, and travel may include occasional trips to the EU.
Location: London + Remote + Client Sites
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum

We're looking for a Tech Desk / Field Service Engineer to join the Service team of our client. Someone who takes pride in keeping systems running smoothly and delivering a brilliant experience for every client.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety. You might be working from the client's office in London one day, jumping on remote support the next, and heading to a client site the day after. You'll deal with everything from conference room tech to wider building systems, and there's lots of room to grow across the full range of technologies we support.

AV / Audio Visual Engineering, Meeting Room / Conference Room Technology, Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, BSS Soundweb, DSP configuration and troubleshooting, Networked AV systems, IT Networking (IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, switching), Cable testing and fault‑finding, CCTV / Access Control / Security Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), Video and audio signal processing, Firmware updates and device patching, Diagnostics and system testing, Reading and understanding schematics, Customer‑facing support experience, Field service engineering, Preventative maintenance and PMVs, Troubleshooting hardware and software faults, RMA handling and vendor liaison, Working on client sites / onsite support, Strong communication and documentation skills.
