Job summary

A healthcare organization in York is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide typing and administrative support within the medical secretariat.   • Provide typing and administrative support to the medical secretariat.

Skills

Excellent typing skills or RSA II level qualification

Responsibilities
  • Audio typing of outpatient clinic, discharge and general administrative letters.
  • Filing, photocopying and other administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Provide typing and administrative support to the medical secretariat within the Directorate as required.
  • Deal with routine internal telephone queries.
  • Respond in a professional and sensitive manner when dealing with confidential issues.
Qualifications
  • GCSE English Language, Grade C or above, or equivalent.
  • Excellent typing skills or RSA II level qualification.
  • Previous clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer based setting.
