Job description

The School is seeking to appoint a motivated, organised, and compassionate School Attendance Officer to help support pupils and families, promote positive attendance habits, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. Working with the Attendance Manager, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and track pupil attendance daily.
  • Work closely with pupils, families, and staff to overcome barriers to attendance.
  • Conduct home visits where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce attendance reports.
  • Support the school's safeguarding procedures.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and excellent attendance.
