Job summary

A manufacturing company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Strategic Finance & Cost Management professional to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance. Job description
Strategic Finance & Cost Management
  • Build and maintain fabric-wise cost models including COGS, overhead, depreciation, and tax.
  • Support management in pricing, margin analysis, and investment decisions.
  • Identify areas for cost minimization and profit improvement across all departments.
  • Forecast and plan company finances through rolling 12-month cash flow and budget models.
  • Sound Knowledge on External and internal audit
  • Should have sound knowledge on registration of Joint Stock Companies
Accounting & Compliance Leadership
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Handle VAT, AIT, and corporate tax compliance as per Bangladesh regulations.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Enforce policies and internal controls to ensure full financial integrity and transparency.
  • Oversee bill verification, budgeting, and on-time vendor payments.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Monitor daily fund flow, receivables, and payables to maintain liquidity and efficiency.
  • Develop and track budget guidelines for all departments, ensuring financial discipline.
  • Coordinate with banks and stakeholders for fund management and financial negotiations.
ERP & Reporting System Development
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP/Tally/QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP-based accounting systems.
  • Create Power BI or Excel-based dashboards for real-time KPI tracking (Profit, Margin, Expenses).
  • Collaborate with MIS and production teams to link financial data with operations.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Supervise and guide finance department staff to ensure productivity and accountability.
  • Mediate between the company, auditors, investors, and management on financial matters.
  • Communicate analytical insights to leadership for data-driven business decisions.
