Associate - Real Estate - Exeter - 4+ Years PQE

Location: Exeter

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and capable dual-qualified English & Scottish Real Estate Lawyer (ideally with 4+ years PQE) to join our well-regarded Real Estate team, based in Exeter.

  • Work closely with the wider Energy team to develop our Real Estate Energy offering
  • Support complex, nationally significant, high-value projects in both England and Scotland
  • Advise developers, operators, owners, contractors, and funders on site assembly, land requirements, and project finance
  • Gain exposure to renewable energy technologies including solar, battery storage, anaerobic digestion, and energy-from-waste
  • Build expertise across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects while maintaining a diverse real estate practice
Candidate Requirements

We are looking for an experienced real estate lawyer who:

  • Is dual-qualified in English & Scottish law
  • Has 4+ years PQE in real estate, ideally with energy-related experience
  • Has a proven track record of delivering high-quality real estate development work
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, technical, and organisational skills
  • Thrives under pressure and meets challenging deadlines
  • Builds strong and lasting client relationships
  • Shows genuine enthusiasm for the energy, waste, and renewables sector, with awareness of policy developments
