Job summary

A UK-based game development studio is seeking a QA Tester to support their development teams. Responsibilities include investigating and reporting bugs, performing targeted testing, and maintaining the bug database. Radical Forge is a Middlesbrough, UK-based developer that has provided co-development services on a range of AAA and indie titles. In 2021 the company created their first original IP, ‘Bright Paw’, which was published on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series S/X, Google and iOS by Rogue Games. Your Mission
  • Investigating and reporting bugs in clear and concise tickets
  • Perform smoke checks, targeted testing, and regression
  • Help maintain the bug database
  • Working closely and supporting the wider development team
  • Testing projects across a variety of target platforms.
  • Run through test cases
Skills Summary
Essential
  • Proficient using MS Office/Google Suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to follow and update test plans
  • Experience in testing and reporting detailed bugs
  • Bugdefect tracking-based experience such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla etc.
  • Experience working with PC’s and consoles
  • Excellent communication skills
Desirable
  • Ability to work well with small teams and independently
  • Familiarity with working alongside external QA teams.
  • Worked on a project for external clients
  • Experience with various platforms (Consoles, PC, mobile, VR)

This role can be fully remote within the UK.

We will require all applicants to have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.

The role will initially be a 12 month Fixed Term contract with the potential to extend after this.
