A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist in Health Economics. You will lead the development of economic models and tools to provide insights on product value. Responsibilities include supporting health economics teams and working on cardiovascular products. Expertise in market access strategies and strong interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires innovative thinking and a track record in health economics within the pharmaceutical sector. This position is based in the United Kingdom and offers a hybrid work model.
As the Associate Principal Scientist Health Economics you will report to the Executive Director BARDS (Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences). You will take the lead for the strategic development and use of high-quality economic models and tools to generate business insights and to demonstrate the value of our companys products to relevant stakeholders such as payers health technology assessment (HTA) agencies healthcare decision makers providers and patients.
You will support the HEDS (Health Economic and Decision Sciences) lead on one or more value and implementation teams to refine the integrated value evidence strategy and evidence generation across all phases of product development. You will also work closely with the HEOR (health economics and outcomes research) teams in key markets to support local market access. The position will focus on products in cardiovascular diseases throughout their development cycle.
Effective September 5 2023 employees in office‑based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on‑site per week Monday‑Thursday although the specific days may vary by site or organization with Friday designated as a remote‑working day unless business critical tasks require an on‑site Hybrid work model does not apply to and daily in‑person attendance is required for field‑based positions; facility‑based manufacturing‑based or research‑based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely.
