Overview

A vacancy at Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust for Assistant Practitioners or Nursing Associates to work within Community Services and the Bladder and Bowel Team across North Lincs. You will work in clinics, patients' homes, care homes and training events.

Responsibilities
  • Unsupervised delegated nursing duties as defined by the specialist nurses in the continence team.
  • Effective member of the continence team, developing and maintaining effective communication channels with other professionals and agencies.
  • Provide holistic and person‑centred care and support for people in your care.
  • Participate in audits and service improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and support HCAs, Trainee Nursing Associates and Pre‑registration nurses.
  • Continue to develop through further skills based on NMC (2018) guidelines and the development of the Nursing Associate role.
Qualifications / Competencies
  • Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate with the required scope of practice governed by the NMC Code (2018) and NMC Standards of Proficiency (2018).
  • Caring, professional, calm under pressure, able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective communication channels with other professionals and agencies.
